Berlin Workshop Accelerates Circular Electronics Strategies

Berlin is hosting a high-impact workshop titled “Circular Electronics: Co-Creating Repair Strategies for Berlin” to address the growing challenge of e-waste and boost the city’s circular economy. Despite national efforts, Germany’s electronics collection rate remains far below EU targets, with repair and reuse practices still underdeveloped.

The event brings together repair professionals, tech innovators, policymakers, and manufacturers to identify concrete actions for scaling repair, reuse, and refurbishment practices in the ICT and electronics sector.

Key topics include:

• Design for repairability and reuse

• Infrastructure and business models for circularity

• Overcoming legal, economic, and technical barriers

• Digital Product Passports and AI solutions
