The greenCHEM x Paludi Challenge is an open innovation program for researchers, students, and early-stage teams ready to turn ideas into action.
It focuses on unlocking the potential of underutilized paludi biomass for climate-positive land use by developing new applications and viable value chains—ranging from sustainable materials and chemical building blocks to scalable processes.
Participants benefit from team matching, access to lab infrastructure and biomass, hands-on workshops (e.g., LCA, business modeling, pitching), and mentoring from academia and industry. The program also offers the opportunity to test and validate ideas in practice and explore follow-up funding or projects.
